Rigger

Location: Kemps Creek, Sydney, NSW
Position: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required.

About the Role

Due to exciting growth, we are seeking an experienced Rigger to join our site-based team for the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre (AWRC) project – a significant initiative by Sydney Water, located in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing pipe work and pipe supports.
  • Installing mechanical plant.
  • Installing structural steel work.
  • Operating various crane sizes and lifting apparatuses.
  • Assisting other trades and trade assistants with various tasks as needed.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with heavy lifts.
  • Experience in installing structural steel work.
  • Experience in installing pipe work and pipe supports.
  • Working at Heights (WAH) and Confined Space certifications (required).
  • EWP certification (essential).
  • Telehandler certification (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
