Project Details
Pructon undertook the work for the removal of structural steel accessways and platforms on heritage-listed World War 2 vintage tanks and structures.
A multitude of hazards were identified, and the works were undertaken in hard-to-access areas. During the execution of works, the tanks were found to contain unexploded ordinance. Great care was taken around the existing tanks due to explosive hazards. Appropriate precautions were taken to protect personnel and equipment, and work was successfully completed with no safety incidents recorded.
