We are thrilled to share with you our reflections of the Annual GEA Charity Golf Day which was held on the 4th August 2023 in support of Bella The Brave Foundation.  Proudly sponsoring the event, we at Pructon were delighted to be a part of an initiative that brought together the community for a meaningful purpose. The Gladstone Engineering Alliance orchestrated a day that will forever remain etched in our hearts and minds.

Our passionate team embraced the spirit of the day by sporting matching shirts (though unfortunately the professional shirts didn’t do much for their golfing skills!). However, while golf might not be our primary forte, our team members, Dan, Lincoln, and Alex, put their hearts into representing Pructon with unwavering determination.

The GEA Charity Golf Day was more than just a golf tournament; it was a platform that amplified awareness for a great cause. Brain cancer is a relentless adversary that claims lives at an alarming rate. Bella The Brave’s mission struck a chord with all who attended the day and it was great to hear that combined efforts raised $5,000 for the charity.

The Bella The Brave Foundation, is run by volunteers who are deeply passionate about their cause, and who are striving to create a world without childhood brain cancer. Every putt, every swing, and every donation carried the weight and we are honoured to have been a part of the day.

We encourage you to learn more about the Bella The Brave Foundation, its incredible journey, and how you can make a difference in the lives of those fighting childhood brain cancer. Visit their website at www.bellathebrave.org to explore the inspiring story of Bella and discover the ways in which you can contribute to their cause.

Thank you to the Gladstone Engineering Alliance for orchestrating this remarkable event, to our dedicated team members for their spirited participation, and to Bella The Brave Foundation for their relentless pursuit of a future free from childhood brain cancer.
